I have always hated about pages. They should offer information about the website's purpose but instead they often just blabber on about why this website is so fantastic.
So I won't do it. It's just here. You can use or you don't, i'm going to make it anyway. :)

This website has seen the light because the owner wants to learn some new web technologies while trying to make some more dough on the side. That's about it.
